The teaching approach of Terramare, although used by other schools, introduces a variety of principles drawn from the different experiences of practical language teaching and learning psychology.
Language and Culture cannot be separated.
Therefore, in the classroom, we involve students in situation-activities to enable them to express their linguistic baggage and original experiences, immersed in an atmosphere of total acceptance.
On the other hand, we complement classroom activities with experiences in local culture, multiplying contexts of community life where students interact directly as social actors under teachers’ guidance.
