“ARCHEOLOGY AND HISTORY ” - ETRUSCANS AND ROMANS - MIDDLE AGE AND RENAISSANCE
- Study of Etruscan-Roman archeology and visits to museums and archeological sites;
- Visiting pottery producing workshops;
- Workshop: Pottery making and ceramic decoration;
- Visiting of excavation sites, historical places and art treasures of the Romanic, Gothic and Renaissance periods;
- Workshop: Painting, architectural drawing.
DURATION OF THE COURSE 1 WEEK
“WINE AND GASTRONOMY IN THE MAREMMA – TYPICAL DISHES AND WINES ”
- Visiting ORGANIC FARMS, cultivation process and production. P preparation of typical dishes, dinner with farmer’s family;
- Wine tasting along the “Strada del Vino” in Maremma
visiting “agriturismi”and rearing stations;
- Preparation of typical dishes in agricultural companies;
- Thermal spring of SATURNIA (Possibility of swimming), dinner with tasting of typical dishes

B -”THE LANGUAGE OF TRAVELLING”-

TUSCANY, SARDINIA, UMBRIA AND LAZIO
Linguistic, historical and anthropological workshop -
Get to know Italy and its language, art, history and traditions travelling through four beautiful Italian regions.
- Get to know the historical-cultural and scenic variety and the different traditions of the regions visited;
- Take part in local cultural events;
- Prepare and enjoy typical dishes of local cuisine as well as tasting the most famous regional wines;
- Learn the Italian language through gathering information and sharing;
- Discover Italy and exchange impressions concerning your particular.

C - FROM CREATING TO SPEAKING -
ART AND ARCHEOLOGY IN MUSEUMS AND ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES
Language and art workshop – Experience artistic techniques like:
- Processing of clay and pottery art;
- Enamel processing and the decorating of ceramics;
- Painting and graphic techniques;
- Introduction to architectural drawing.
- ll activities are conducted by experienced tutors.
- Visit the most important Tuscan cities of art.
- Contemplate the archeological relics of the Etruscan-Roman era.
- Learn the Italian language and its artistic terms.
- Creae your own work of art and experiment with drawing and painting techniques.
- Interpret works of art using Italian technical terms from the artistic and archeological field.
- Get to know the prevailing cultural circumstances and the symbolic meaning of painting and architecture in different periods of history.
