The school is open all year round. It's possible to enrol at any time and choose a course specially tailored to your requirements, answering to any need of studying, working, way of life and leasure time and suited to any level.

Nature & Sports

For those who want to combine studying the Italian language with enjoying their favorite sports in one of the most unique natural environments in Italy.
Students who enroll to this course can choose from:
- canoeing, rowing, and sailing in the lagoon;
- surfing, sailing, scuba diving (beginners and professionals), snorkeling, on the sea around the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and the coast of Argentario and the Natural Park of Maremma;
- horseback riding, hiking and cycling paths through the coastal parks of Maremma,
- other sports


The student is accompanied with the school car, by a teacher, who introduces him/her, performing the function of linguistic and cultural mediator, to the association or sports facility authorized and to relationships with the instructor and with the group.
The practice of sport is implemented through the assistance of a professional instructor.

The course consists of:
a - language instruction in the morning for a total of 20 hours per week (9 am to 1 am)
b - 2 cultural outdoor activities (of 3-4 hours each) with the group per week
c - 1 full day excursion to one of the most beautiful places in the region (islands, Natural parks or cities of art) with the group
d - 3 sports activities per week

THE PROGRAM:
Week 1:

  • Monday: morning language lesson; afternoon introduction to local ecology, sport opportunities and a guided tour of Orbetello's historical center.
  • Tuesday: morning language lesson; afternoon sport activity with the assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Wednesday: morning language lesson; visit to "Giardino dei Tarocchi" by Niki de Saint Phalle and to the Medieval town of Capalbio
  • Thursday: morning language lesson; afternoon sport activity with the assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Friday: morning language lesson; afternoon sport activity with the assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Saturday: full-day excursion to Giglio Island and visit to the medieval town; possibility of hiking and swimming on the coast.

Week 2:

  • Monday: morning language lesson; afternoon cultural activity with the group (visit to archaeological sites or cities of art and museums)
  • Tuesday: morning language lesson; afternoon sport activity with the assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Wednesday: morning language lesson; afternoon excursion with the group to the Natural Park of Maremma - possibility of hiking and swimming on the coast for the group; for the student enrolled to the special course, sport activity with assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Thursday: Morning language lesson; afternoon sport activity with the assistance of a professional instructor.
  • Friday: Morning language lesson; afternoon bike ride along the nature reserve "Duna Feniglia", stop for swimming on the beach and farewell dinner for the whole group of students and teachers.

***On Saturday students will be able to enrol at a whole day guided tour to the city of Siena and neighbouring towns of Montepulciano and Pienza: visit of historical sites, lunch in typical local restaurant and evening stopover at a wine cellar to taste the local famous wines.

***The cost of this activity is not included in the price of the course.
